I was thrilled to have been given the opportunity to speak at iDesignX on Wednesday 27th February 2019 at the Brisbane Convention Centre. The focus of the conference was designing learning of the future at work.

This was my second time speaking at iDesignX and my session had a great turnout. The focus of my session was using voice solutions like Amazon Alexa and Google Home to develop just-in-time training for staff. If you want to check out my presentation, you can view it here.

It was a great day, full of great sessions from some of the best Learning Designers in Australia. I was able to take away so many great ideas and it was a great opportunity to catch up with some of my Learning Heroes – Kim Tuohy, Nicole White, Toby Hewitt, Jason Reed, Naomi Waldron, James Bevelander, Nick Petch and my dear friend Aimee Blewett.

My favourite session, without a doubt was from James Bevelander from Cotton On, who presented a great session –  Let’s Wage War on Boring Learning Videos! Great stuff!
