Programs you need

Here's a list of programs that you'll need access to for this session.

Design, prototype, and publish voice apps for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant- without coding.

Voiceflow is a program that allows you to make Alexa skills without coding. There’s no way to create Amazon Alexa skills unless you’re a good engineer. Voiceflow makes it easy with a visual drag-n-drop interface.

In Voiceflow you’ll be able to design and write your skill in the visual UI, preview your skill in the browser and deploy your skill with 1-click and see analytics.

Before the session begins, please sign up to Voiceflow so you are ready to get started.

The Developer Console is where we will be submitting the skill for Certification!

Once we have completed creating and testing our new skill, we will submit it for certification through the Alexa section of the Developer Console.

Here we will be selecting the correct Category and Subcategory, providing testing instructions, choosing countries and regions, adding short and full descriptions, examples phrases and finally, adding keywords and images.

Before the session begins, please sign up to the Amazon Developer Console so you are ready to get started.
