A quick note on how I work

I run a boutique business, which means I don’t have a sales team. When you contact me, you get me.

Because I am often inundated with enquiries, I prioritise clients who are looking for a partner, not just a price tag.

  • I do not respond to blind “Requests for Proposals” (RFPs).
  • I do not compete on “cheapest price.”
  • I DO offer a free, no-pressure Discovery Meeting to anyone serious about building something great.

What Happens Next?

No ghosts. No guessing

I treat the sales process the same way I treat my projects: with transparency and organisation.

The Chat

If we seem like a good fit, we’ll have that Discovery Call. I use AI to transcribe our notes so I don’t miss a single detail of your requirements.

The Proposal

I’ll send you a detailed proposal. It will outline exactly what we will build, how long it will take, and exactly what it costs.

The Kickoff

Once you sign, you’ll get an invite to our shared Trello board, and we get to work.

More information

How Much Does Learning Content Cost?

The budget for a learning experience can vary a great deal depending on the scope, timeline, and complexity, to name a few.

A 5 minute bespoke learning experience with full instructional design typically starts at $16,000 but can be as much as $40,000+ for 30 minutes. It depends on what you need.

What's Your Availability To Start A Project?

I can take on new projects with about 2 weeks to a months notice. Urgent work will include additional charges.

As I work alone, I can be booked up in advance, so please give me as much notice as possible so we can lock in the development of your learning content.

How Long Does It Take To Complete A Learning Experience?

A learning experience development timeline varies on the project’s scope and how well we communicate.

Typically, my projects from kick off to implementation take between 2-3 months to complete but can take longer based on communication, scope, and revision cycles.

What Are The Projects You Won't Work On?

I don’t take on projects that are pro bono unless they are related to Suicide Awareness, Diversity and Equality or supporting the LGBTI community.

I also have a personal preference to reject projects relating to religion, mining, tobacco and firearms.

Do You Mentor Learning Designers?

Over the last five years, I’ve received hundreds of emails from aspiring Freelance Learning Designers asking if I can provide them with mentoring or to offer them opportunities to work with me.

So, I launched a YouTube Channel called The Learning Pro Live, where I live stream and help Learning Designers refine their craft by sharing new skills and showcasing new learning technology.

I also created The Learning Pro Community, which is FREE to join and includes Learning Specialists from accross the globe supporting each other, answering questions and sharing new technology and skills.

Trusted by global brands, government agencies, and industry leaders.
